Pune: A 30-year-old woman was found murdered at her house in a village in Baramati taluka, about 95 km from Pune, on Saturday evening.Pune Rural police took an accused into custody on Sunday. The reason behind the murder is still being investigated.Assistant police inspector Kuldeep Sankpal of Malegaon police said, “On Saturday, the woman’s husband returned home from work and found her body. The woman was bludgeoned with an object and later strangled to death with a towel.”“The woman’s mother-in-law had lodged a complaint. We have detained one person. The reason behind the murder is being investigated,” the officer added.
