5 common mistakes people make while using an ATM

Sometimes an ATM may display an error even after you have entered your details. In other cases, your account may be debited even though the cash does not come out. Check your bank’s transaction alert or account statement before assuming that everything is fine. If money has been deducted but you have not received it, report the failed transaction to your bank and keep the transaction details.

A little attention can go a long way when using an ATM. Keep your PIN private, stay alert while making a transaction and report anything unusual to your bank promptly.
