5 lessons on dealing with anger without suppressing what you feel

There are moments when anger feels completely justified. Someone says the wrong thing, crosses a boundary or disappoints you, and suddenly you are fighting the urge to say everything that has been sitting inside you.

But there is another side to anger too. Sometimes you swallow it, act normal and move on, only to find yourself thinking about the incident hours later.

Neither exploding nor pretending you are unaffected really solves the problem. The healthier approach may be to acknowledge the anger and understand what you want to do with it.
