Pune: Pune railway division will undertake a block from Sept 22 to 24 for works related to the commissioning of the third line between Hadapsar and Ghorpadi, which will result in the cancellation of six trains in addition to diversions and short termination of many other trains.On Sept 22, trains like the Pune-Solapur Intercity Superfast Express, Solapur-Pune Intercity Superfast Express and four other local DEMU trains operating between Daund and Pune will remain cancelled. Five other express trains like Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Superfast Express, CSMT Mumbai-MGR Chennai Central Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Vasco-Da-Gama Goa Express, Nagercoil-Mumbai LTT Express etc., will be diverted via different routes.In total, five trains will be diverted, officials said. Also, four trains will be short-terminated, three more trains will be short-originated, in addition to three trains being rescheduled.
