Less than two years later, in January 2021, he made his first attempt to offload it, listing the estate for $7.5 million. The listing sat for about ten months without any solid offers, and Johnson eventually pulled it off the market altogether.The property, known as the “Magnificent Bullard Estate,” once again came up for sale in August at a further discounted price of $6.95 million. Realtor.com reports that it officially closed on September 19 for $6.1 million, which was a full $3.3 million less than what Johnson had originally paid. Interestingly, although the actor bought the estate through an LLC, property documents reviewed by the outlet list him as the sole owner.

It calls it a “premier equestrian sanctuary,” and points out the “state-of-the-art 12-stall barn,” “six fully fenced manicured pastures,” and a “professional-grade riding arena for year-round training.”The nearly 15,000-square-foot main residence, built in 2003, has eight bedrooms, marble bathrooms, exposed brick, walnut hardwood floors, wood-beamed ceilings, large French windows, and stone fireplaces, along with a library, wine cellar, and media room.Outdoor amenities include a “resort-style pool area” with a saltwater pool, a cabana lounge, and an elevated hot tub.
Why did The Rock buy the home?
Johnson purchased the Georgia estate roughly two months after marrying his second wife, Lauren Hashian, and it’s long been assumed that the equestrian setup was largely for his daughter Jasmine, who has taken up horseback riding.In 2023, he shared his pride in her progress on Instagram, writing, “Her first tack trunk. As many of you know, it’s a big and cool deal for young riders. Super proud of her discipline, commitment and focus #TrueBlueFarms.”It’s unclear how often Johnson actually spent time at the Georgia property, since his primary home, a 15,000-square-foot mansion is located in Beverly Park, Beverly Hills, which he bought in 2021. Along with Jasmine, nine, Johnson shares daughter Tiana, six, with Hashian, and is also father to 24-year-old Simone Johnson, whom he shares with ex-wife Dany Garcia.
