PUNE: A nine-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted and murdered by a man in Pimpalwadi village in Maharashtra’s Pune district, police said on Wednesday.The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon in Junnar tehsil.Police have taken the 25-year-old accused into custody in connection with the case.The accused allegedly took the girl from her house to a farm nearby, sexually assaulted her and later killed her, superintendent of police, Pune Rural, Sandip Singh Gill told news agency PTI.“A case has been registered, and the accused has been taken into custody.
